Participation and aims
Art for Women
today aims to support women through art.
Today, the Art
for Women Today project support two aid organizations by donating all proceeds from the sale of the artist's fine art collections and by developing training workshops specifically designed for women. The objective of these workshops will be to offer women who participate a space for creativity in which to express themselves and tell their stories, and at the same time the opportunity to acquire skills useful for personal and professional growth paths.
Those organizations are Pianoterra ETS and Arcidonna.
Arcidonna (Centro Antiviolenza Napoli Aurora) is an NGO preventing and combating gender-based violence through the organisation and management of free psychological, social and legal assistance services for women who suffer violence and for minors who are victims of witnessing violence.

The association works together with families with the aim of intervening at an early stage and promoting, right from pregnancy, conscious and positive parenting, counteracting the effects of poverty and hardship on the psycho-physical development of children and adolescent. Pianoterra has offices in Rome, Naples and Castel Volturno and collaborates with hundreds of other entities (third sector organisations, social and health services, schools and universities, companies and private individuals to create innovative and sustainable projects and interventions that focus on the care and wellbeing of the most fragile.
